The Jack Day Recordings

We spent the weekend in sleepy East Finchley recording Jack Day's beautiful folk songs. It was all a bit DIY but Jack's performance was amazing. Hopefully we captured some of that, I think we did.

The recordings are going to be made into an EP to coincide with a tour. We will let you know more details as soon as we have them.

Clash - Track of the Day!

'.... Like Mumford And Sons gone feral, the trio's lilting ballads are matched by their love of outright noise.

As uncompromising as the title, this is one slice of British indie that is definitely not travelling in the middle of the road. .... '

‘Road Kill’ to be released as a Free Download VERY SOON!

Someone hit the front of the car with a deer
Hope it wasn’t you driving
A train did the same to a fox
Don’t want to see it smiling it back at me

Because I have hit the cat before
Its coat as white as snow
It came out from the side of the road
And under and bang bang bang bang bang

Forgive Ourselves for what we’ve done

*Exciting News*

‘Road Kill’ will be released through Young and Lost Club’s Digital Club - Free Downloads.

We will post full details how to download the track as soon as we have them.

To coincide and celebrate the release, our good friend Gregory Hilton has made a video and Chris from the band has remixed the track.

These, along with the mastered version of ‘Road Kill’, will be added to our blog/myspace when the song is released.

Please keep your eyes open and spread the word!

Animals of the Sunderbans - Indian Flying Fox

So I begin the new year with another animal, meet the Indian Flying Fox.

This massive bat, with a wingspan of over 4 feet, gets it name because of its red fur and fox like facial features. Despite its size it is less feared than its cousin, the Vampire Bat, as it feeds mainly on fruit rather than blood.
